Welcome to Toronto Stadium

Rendering of BMO Field upgrades with multiple seating tiers, lounge areas, and rooftop dining spaces

In preparation for the FIFA World Cup 26™, Toronto Stadium (BMO Field) is getting a $146 million makeover, reimagining the city’s beloved home turf with state-of-the-art renovations.

What’s New?

Toronto Stadium will increase its capacity to 45,000 (with 17,000 temporary seats) for the FIFA World Cup 26™. Other upgrades include four new LED video boards, improved lighting, enhanced sound, better Wi-Fi, a new centre-field lounge, plus new kitchen and AI-powered self-serve tech which will make grabbing food quicker and easier so fans can spend more time enjoying the action. And of course, we can't forget the world-class field upgrades and new team dugouts for the world's best athletes.

Built for the Future

Many of these upgrades are here to stay. Toronto Stadium is getting the tools it needs to host top-tier events for years to come. After the tournament, fans will enjoy a 1,000-person rooftop patio and the field upgrades will make the stadium a top destination for major matches.
